655,000 Iraqi civilians DEAD since “Shock and Awe”

“they were shocked and they were awed and they were blown in half” - Fun & Games, Barenaked Ladies
The BBC has a story on their website that states that 655,000 Iraqi civilians have died since conflict began in 2003, who would otherwise be alive if no conflict had taken place. And with 4000 Iraqi police officers dead within the past 2 years, it’s hard to say this is not a civil war.
Thanks to leftdog for pointing out that the number of deaths of Iraqi civilians is greater than the population of Winnipeg.

When you post an article, please tell the whole truth. “665,000 Iraqi civilians killed”
451,095 were killed by terrorist or other Iraqi’s. Didn’t you think that was an important point? The source? a whacked out leftist and a far left news source. Did you bother to find out how they reached that number? I did, very interesting.

I never implied how they were killed. What I said was that there 655,000 Iraqi Cilviians who died, who most likley wouldn’t have died if it weren’t for the conflict in Iraq. I don’t see any misleading at all… if you would read my post, you should come to the same conclusion as well.
The source is the BBC. Which is a pretty reliable moderate news source. The BBC is not “a whacked out leftists and far left news source.” Sorry if you can’t handle the truth.
And yes I did look at how they reached the number. They can’t do an actual body count because of conditions, so statistics is the best way to determine at the moment.
