I know, I haven’t posted in a while

I apologize for not posting as of lately. Life has been getting in the way, and I’m still getting use to some new medication… which is the reason I am up at 2:00AM posting this, and will be staying up the rest of the night. Anyways, don’t worry to much about it, it’s nothing life threatening… just life interfering.
Went to the Barenaked Ladies concert in Calgary tonight! Volunteered for “Barenaked Planet†too. I was selling offset stickers - Basically allowing fans of the band to buy wind power to offset their travel to the concert. I think ended up selling around 40… and I hate selling stuff! But I really enjoyed this, I guess it’s different when you actually believe in the thing you are selling. I also got to meet the band in an official meet and greet and I was very surprised when two of the band members (Steve and Tyler) actually knew my name. Anyways, if you are interested in Barenaked Planet, check out the website here. Basically the band is doing things to lessen their impact on the environment. Some of these initiatives include retrofitting all the tour buses into bio-diesel vehicles. Using very neat corn-based cups backstage instead of plastic or Styrofoam ones. And powering each concert on the tour with Bull Frog wind power!
I also did manage to make it into the “After Show†which really wasn’t a show at all, and ended up being very awkward for me… but still an experience.

Hey Tyler! Always good to see you blogging. The BNL event sounds like it was fun - (I like their stampede look). Blog on!
