I had the honour of meeting Pam Barrett when she was still Leader of the Alta New Democrats. The word ‘fiesty’ was invented to describe Pam. Her smile was infectious and she was a political giant to those who loved her. She will be missed greatly and has earned a spot in the political history of Alberta and Canada.

I had the honor and privilege of being friends with Pam for what seemed like such a short time. She was small, feisty, spirited, passionate, and just fun to be around. Though I haven’t seen her in quite some time, she will be missed.
